Diffusion film under the cover
BILKA 140 g film is a modern under cover diffusion film, which can eliminate the most frequent execution errors. Due to the capacity of steam permeability, the ventilation channel between the film and the thermo-isolation is unnecessary.
Therefore, no draughts will occur, thus increasing the efficiency of the thermo-isolation. The center membrane of the three-layer film provides steam permeability and successfully evacuates the water on the surface. In case of an enhanced roof (attic floor), the price of the film is redeemed in 2-3 years.

Assemblage rules:
As under cover film it shall be assembled according to the regulations under norm DIN 4108 providing ventilation under the film, fixed on the rafters with counter-strips, with the inscription upward. Taking into consideration that Bilka 140 g film is permeable to steam by default, it can be directly fitted on the thermo-isolation, a ventilation channel between the film and the thermo-isolation being unnecessary. It can be used at roof trusses with a slope of minimum 25⁰ free hung and at batten roof trusses with a slope of minimum 15⁰.
The film is fixed parallel with the line of the rain shadow, with an overlap marked on the edge of the roll with a colored stripe (min. 10 cm). It shall be fitted taking into account the direction of the water flow, and it can be drawn over the coping of the roof as well. It’s a diffusion film which resists to normal thermal duties (with max. adequate ventilation: +70⁰C), implementation temperature (-) 20⁰C – (+)40⁰C, maximum film coverage period: 3 months.
Storage and warehousing rules:
Indoor, in a dry place, free of moisture, radiant heat and solar radiations
Usage period:
Under the observance of the storage rules, it will keep its qualities for a period of 5 years since the purchase
Guarantee:
In compliance with the regulations in force, under the observance of the transportation conditions indicated by the supplier.
